#OnMyPath Nature’s Path Qi’a Bars

Y’all know I’m an on-the-go sort of girl, and a hungry girl at that 😉 so it’s essential for me to have great snacks that travel well, are delicious and nutritious all at the same time. I’m already a big Nature’s Path fan, so when I discovered their new Qi’a Superfood Snack Bars I was jazzed to check them out.

The bars come in five flavours – Dark Chocolate Cranberry Almond, Nuts & Seeds & Sea Salt, Blueberry Cashew Pumpkin Seed, Roasted Peanut Dark Chocolate, and Mocha Cocoa Hazelnut, and offer up to 6g of protein (which is pretty amazing considering they don’t contain protein powder) and 6 grams of fibre.

I’ve had the chance to try out the different bars over the past couple weeks and have really loved each of the flavours I tried, but I think the Roasted Peanut Dark Chocolate is my favourite (but I still need to try the Nuts & Seeds & Sea Salt which sounds pretty yummy!!

What I really love is that aside from being tasty (which is an essential), the ingredient list isn’t scary, I know and can pronounce all of the ingredients which is fantastic. And like I mentioned above they have great fibre and protein content and of course have the added benefits of superfoods making them a perfect snack food! I’ve even been known to grab one for a quick breakfast on days when a more substantial meal isn’t possible.

The bars contain chia, hemp and coconut as their main superfoods (of course different flavours have some others thrown in like dark chocolate, and blueberries) which is where we are getting the high fibre and protein counts, but they are also rich in healthy fats like Omega-3s (which are sooooo important).

Another reason I love them so much – they don’t contain dates. So many natural snack bars do and I’m really not much of a fan. #SorryNotSorry

Because I love them so much (legit, they are my new favourite snack bars. They are tasty, moist and have great nutritional stats!), I want you to have the chance to try them too!

Giveaway

The lovely folks at Nature’s Path would like to give one of my readers a prize pack valued at $100 which will include a variety of Qi’a Superfood Snack Bars, and Desiree Nielsen, BSc, RD.’s book “Un-Junk Your Diet” which is a really fantastic resource for anyone looking to improve their health and nutrition through their diet. It teaches you how to shop, cook, and eat to fight inflammation (which is the ringleader of all badness in our bodies) and feel better forever. I have a copy of the book and have been really enjoying reading it, it’s always nice when someone with more training and education that you have is saying things that totally back up the way you think and operate. It makes me feel like I’m on the right track 😉
