Sunday afternoon I had the wonderful opportunity to take my 9 year old niece to the new youth kindness spa Spa-dee-da which recently opened up in Bedford. My lovely friend Colleen developed the branding through her Graphic & Web design business Drawbridge Creative and organized a blogger event for us to bring our girls in to check out the spa which was super awesome!
I knew that it would be right up Emma’s alley, and how often do you get to take your niece for a mani/pedi, DIY facial and yoga at a spa?
As soon as we walked in we were in love. Purple walls, a striped floor and the most gorgeous decor, this place is amazing. We both wished our bedrooms looked like this!

Are you in love or what? The kids started out with 30 minutes of yoga,

then made their way into the treatment room where half of the party got pedicures, while the other half had DIY facials

I was pretty darn envious of those pedicures though, complete with a foot and lower leg massage.

Once everyone was all pampered, we moved into the party room which is painted with chaulkboard paint so the kids can draw on the walls. So fun!

I feel so very fortunate to have been able to take Emma to such an amazing place to spend the afternoon and get pampered. Especially since it wasn’t for a specific special occasion, just a random Sunday, which I think makes it all that much more amazing.
The staff at Spa-dee-da are absolutely fantastic. They are all trained estheticians and were so kind and patient with the girls. Emma commented on the way home how nice they all were, and I know Sunday was an experience the girls will be talking about for a long time to come.
Spa-dee-da offers a wide range of services for girls and boys, including spa parties, facials, manicures, pedicures, ear piercing, massage (coming soon), and more – check out the full range of services on their website.
Spa-dee-da is the first of it’s kind here in this area, and is truly a magical place. If you have youth who want or need spa treatments like skin consultations, facials, etc. this is the place to go. Not only do they have trained staff, but they also have a full range of products they can recommend based on individual needs. And because they specialize in youth, you don’t have to worry about them getting treatments or products that aren’t tailored to their young skin.
If you have kids, or like me have nieces or nephews, check out Spa-dee-da and follow them on social media @spadeeda on Twitter and Instagram, and Facebook

and maybe surprise someone with a BFF manicure or pedicure for their next birthday or special occasion. I promise you, it’ll be an experience they won’t soon forget!
Sounds like you and Emma had a fabulous time and a great place to go for a girls birthday party.
Looks fun! Exactly how young would a group of girls have to be to go there for a birthday party? (wink wink)
They’ll take any ages actually, shall I make a reservation? 😉
