Physique 57 8-Week Challenge

Welcome to the first Monday of 2014!  In many respects today feels more like the first “day” of 2014 because for many of us it’s the first day of getting back into our regular routine.  Kids are back in school, we all have a full work week ahead of us (wah!!!!!) and after the fun of the past few weeks it’s time to get back at our fitness routines!

On Friday I wrote this post on Barre classes because so many people ask me, “what is a barre class??” and in the post I mentioned that Physique 57 (which I looooooove) offers workout DVDs and online workouts so you can get barre buff in the comfort of your own home.  Well it just so happens that Physique 57 is starting an 8 week online challenge today!  I’ve joined and will be blogging (and Instagraming, tweeting and Facebooking) my experience!

What a fabulous prize!  I had the chance to meet and take a class with Tanya Becker when I was in NYC, and it was one of the most fun (slash painful 😉 ) parts of my trip!

The 8 week challenge costs $114 and when you sign up you get 8 week of unlimited Physique 57 online workouts plus all of these extras:

Because of my class schedule, there may be a day here and there that I have to skip my Physique 57 workout in order to ensure I have enough energy to finish teaching my classes, but there is such a great mix of short and long workouts on the calendar that hopefully those days will be few and far between.

I’ve seen the changes that even one barre class/week can make in the body (appearance and strength wise) so I’m excited to see what kind of changes happen over 8 weeks of consistent barre workouts.

My next “official” post regarding the challenge will be at the end of 4 weeks, and then a final post at 8 weeks, but I’ll be posting on social media most days to help keep myself accountable to all of you!

    Visiting from SITS. Glad to find your blog. It’s shameful that I’ve never tried Physique 57 since I now live in LA and used to live in NYC. It’s on my bucket list though.

    I did a 60 Day Pilates Challenge last year (and blogged about it as well) and it really changed my fitness levels. Wishing you luck and fun with your 8 week challenge.

      Ohhh you really need to go to a class! It’s brutal in the most amazing way!

      Thanks – I’m going to need luck, 3 days in and I’m dying! It’s crazy how different workouts challenge you, you’d think I’d never exercised a day in my life if you watched me during these workouts, lol
