Monday’s Odds and Ends

Wow. I almost wrote happy hump day. Where is my brain!? Happy MONDAY! I hope that the start of the week is treating you well so far!

I’m one of those annoying people who doesn’t mind Mondays, but mostly because I don’t really have to start work until after lunch on Mondays so I get to ease into the week. I won’t lie, it’s delightful. 😉

Today I have a bunch of odds and end I wanted to share with you so today’s post is pretty much a mish mash (which auto correct changed to fish mash, hahaha) of a bunch of different stuff.

I want to send out a heart felt thank you to everyone who commented here or on social media, and to those who sent me emails and private messages about my post from last Tuesday. Being a “public figure” you’re expected to only present the best side of yourself, but once in a while I think it’s important to show people what is really going on behind the curtain so to speak, and that’s exactly what that post was. I’m still in a bit of a funk, but do feel better than I did Tuesday, largely thanks to you all. So again, thank you!

I even got flowers and mini eggs out of it! <3 <3 <3

CordSkinz

CordSkinz sent me two sets of their cord covering skins for earphones to keep them tangle free and break free and I flipping love them! Not only did they make my headphones look super cute (I’m a girl, so sue me), but I haven’t had to untangle them once since I put them on.

They were stupid easy to install, and I just love the way the lavender looks on my white headphones. I also got the pink glitter cordskinz which are on the headphones on my iPod Touch. Because those headphones are black, they don’t look quite as snazzy, but they still do their job fabulously! If you find yourself always fighting with your headphones to untangle them, I highly recommend this product!

Homemade Bread

I just recently started making homemade bread instead of buying the store made (we always bought the store made bakery bread) and it is just so delicious! This isn’t new news, I think everyone knows homemade bread is the bomb dot com, but I’m really loving it. It doesn’t take much actual time to make, it’s more about being home to let it rise and bake, and that isn’t an issue.

I don’t even have a loaf pan, but I’m really not bothered. I like the rustic look 😀

Something to Look Forward To…

I’ve got a super fun partnership that is coming up soon, one that I’ve had to keep a secret from you all until everything was all ironed out (which is always the worst part!). I think I’m finally going to be able to share what it is later this week, but in the meantime I’m going to post a(n unmarked) hint later today on social media.
