St Ives & Vaseline® Spray and Go Lotion

My skin is dry.

Like crazy dry. Like, every day no matter how much lotion I used I would scratch and scratch at my legs until J would scold me and tell me to stop.  They were just so itchy! So when I was contacted by Unilever® and asked if I would like to try out the new Spray & Go lotions I said, “Yes please!”.

I’d seen the commercial for Vaseline Spray & Go on TV and wondered how well they really worked…

…did they really absorb in seconds? I’m not stranger to slathering body lotion on, and one you get it on you are pretty much stuck for a good couple minutes before you can get dressed if you don’t want to have it transfer all over your clothes.

Number one – it really does absorb that quickly. I also really like that you can spray it upside down so you can spray up the front of your leg, turn it upside down and spray down the back all in one fluid motion.  It really makes moisturizing a no brainer.

Since I started using these products I shockingly have noticed a huge difference in how itchy my legs are.  Seriously you guys, I would dig and dig at my calves because they were so itchy and while I still get itch sometimes, it’s nothing like it was before. Makes me wonder if any of the lotion I was using before was actually absorbing into my skin or if it was all getting transferred off onto my clothes or the bed sheets.

Anyway, I’ve been using the St. Ives each day after I have a shower/bath and I LOVE the smell of the Coconut Milk and Orchid Extract Fresh Hydration Lotion they sent and then have been using the Vaseline® Spray & Go for dry skin just before bed. I don’t know that it’s necessary to put more on before bed but I’m sort of obsessed…

I wasn’t sure how much J would use the lotion, I don’t think he’s too big on body lotion (probably a boy thing). Anyway I put his in the bathroom and apparently he has been using it because he said that he has noticed a big difference in the skin on the sides of his torso. That the skin was really dry there and he finds that even only using the spray and go once every couple days has provided the area with enough moisture that it’s no longer dry or itchy.

I don’t think it hurts that the men’s lotion smells like a boy, if a guy is going to use body lotion they are probably want it to smell like manly body lotion hahahaha.
