Truth be told, aside from the PC Holiday party, I didn’t do anything notable besides work and sleep last week, so I’m going to skip the Monday re-cap this week and move right into my November Faves!
I’ll start off with what might be the best cat video of all time. I’ve cried every time I watch it.
Little LIFE Box
The owners of Little Life Box sent me one of their boxes, and as a lover of subscription boxes it’s no surprise I love

Just look at all the goodies!!

One of these boxes (or a subscription!) would make an amazing Christmas gift for that person on your list who has everything. I’ve been having so much fun trying out all the products especially the Peanut Butter & Co

and Camino

So tasty!!
My New Kitchen Island

With this countertop, that extra sink, and dishwasher – my life is complete.
My New Winter Coat
It’s nothing fancy, just an Old Navy coat (it must be sold out online because I can’t find it there now) but I love it. My old coat wasn’t long and I always had a cold bum :’( Now I’m staying nice and toasty and I loves it! 😀 😀

The Mindfulness Habit
I received an advance copy of The Mindfulness Habit by Kate Sciandra and have been reading it for the past month or so (the book is set up as a 6-week course so I am reading it one week at a time), I am really enjoying the exercises and explanations within the book. Mindfulness is something that so many of us lose connection with in this day and age of “go-go-go” so I’ve found it really helpful to learn new ways to slow down and become more present.
The book is coming out on January 8th so if you are interested you can pre-order it or add it to your book wish list.
Movies
I saw two movies in the theatres in November (can I just take a second to mention how much I also adore Cineplex’s SCENE points? Free movies? Thank you very much!), Interstellar
And Mockingjay Part 1
I really enjoyed both movies, critics have complained there wasn’t enough action in Mockingly Part 1, but it’s kind of like other movie series where one movie has to spend a bit more time on character development rather than action, action, action. I wasn’t disappointed in the movie at all, but I can see how action finds might be.
Interstellar was amazing, I give it two thumbs up and expect it to appear in our movie collection when it is released.
What about you? What was one of your new favourite discoveries or things from November? Anyone else see Interstellar or Mokingjay?
Disclosure: I was sent the Little LIFE box and The Mindfulness Habit free of charge. I was not required to positively review either item, but chose to do so because I genuinely liked them.
That Little Life Box looks amazing! I’m going to check out their website right now!
It was pretty fab, and that toothbrush is made out of a recycled yogurt cup! I’m not sure why that thrills me so much, but it does 😉
