I got home from San Francisco late last night so I owe you a recap of both my trip and the Nike Women’s Half, but that’ll come later this week because today when I went and got the mail there was new Zumba music waiting for me! YAY! Embarrassingly I’ve only used one song from ZIN 47 so far even though I really liked 3 or 4 of them. I guess I’ve been too busy with running and travelling to memorize the songs.
At any rate, here is the list of songs on ZIN 47 along with any I could easily find on YouTube. Enjoy!
Bouge {Soca Kuduro} – J. Perry
Hace Falta Timbal {Salsa} – Zumba Fitness Original
A Todos Por Igual {Reggaeton} – Zumba Fitness Original
All Around The World {Electrodance} – Paulina Rubio
Tijuana Nights {Quebradita} – Zumba Fitness Original
That’s The Way I Like It {Disco/Funk} – KC & The Sunshine Band
Juntos los Dos {Cumbia} – Zumba Fitness Original
I Like It {Electropop} – Enrique feat. Pitbull
Voy a Marte {Electro Merengue/Bachata} – Grupo Treo
I’m not sure how I’m feeling about this release. I am always bummed when a song I’ve been using for years shows up on a CD (in this case I Like It) but there are a couple others I think might have potential.
How about you, what’s your fav song on this release?
Linda Bernius says
Thanks for the post. I really like Boujé, Juntos los Dos (the Cumbia) and totally love Voy a Marte because there are interesting breaks in the music where it changes from High-Energy parts to slow Batchata-Parts.
I’m sure I will use the three songs mentioned above when I need some new stuff for my classes.
There is a Choreography to “Boujé” made and performed by Gina Grant which is a great one, as well. We will use this version in our classes 🙂
I’ll have to check out Gina’s version once I get around to watching this one to see which one I like best – I love Gina so thanks for the tip!
I have the version of Boujé feat. Admiral T. It was released on iTunes and Amazon about a month ago now. There’s a YouTube video of J. Perry and Admiral T doing it live for a Zumba concert. There’s also a video of Gina and Fanny in Prague using the Shabba version doing slightly different choreography. I’ve loved that song since the moment I heard on the Party In Pink campaign so I got really excited to find Gina and Fanny doing choreography I could actually follow. Which I did, (I wrote a whole Zumbamommy blog post on Boujé hee hee), but then I couldn’t buy that particular version and now I know why… 😉 So I bought the Admiral T version and adapted. My teacher decided she likes the song too, so I showed her what I did with it and she liked that. But she didn’t re-up ZIN as of two months ago… 🙁 Do you happen to know, if someone who takes B1 certification (like in three days…) can then buy a recently released issue of a ZIN CD & DVD?
She’s been using All Around The World for a while. I’d be interested to see what they did with it. I know I keep a list in my head of songs my instructors don’t do but that I think should be in Zumba. Turns out, with a little research, the majority of them already are on either MM’s or CD’s & DVD’s. Thanks by the way for posting such nice lists. 🙂
You make me feel like a Zumba slacker, lol because I still haven’t even listened to half the songs!
I’m sorry I forgot to answer your question (I blame jet lag). As Linda said yes you would be able to but only if you signed up as a ZIN which is $30/month, and I believe there is a penalty if you cancel your ZIN membership within the first year (I *think* it is something like a $20 penalty for every month left of the first 12). So depending on you intentions it might be
Mir expensive than it’s worth
Here is the YouTube of Gina and Fanny: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNhhUhBgzww
That’s what I’ve been using and I adapted that to the Admiral T version of the song. There’s one part in the middle that’s twice as long as the same spot in the Shabba version so I just doubled something up. This video has the very beginning cut off so I found the video { http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GjpILf40jW } of J. Perry doing this live with Admiral T at a concert and used the beginning from that. Let’s hear it for the splice. 😉
You’re welcome. The version Miranda mentioned is the same version I meant by writing about “Gina’s Choreography”. You can watch on youtube by following the link:

Have Fun, kind regards
Linda (from Germany :))
Yes I figured it was the same version, thanks!
Miranda: As far as I am concerned as a B1 Instructor you can buy the last release of a ZIN CD & DVD.
Which means: If you get your B1 certificate in the month ZIN47 was released and the first CD/DVD you get is the next MegaMix and, after that, ZIN48 you can buy ZIN47 belatedly.
Does that help you?
Yeah, thank you Linda. That does help. I really want that Shabba version. In the middle is that “boom boom boom” with the body pump and song actually says boom boom boom. The Admiral T version has something different in that section that is twice as long. The same choreography works there if you double it, it’s just not nearly as awesome without the boom. I’ve heard that scuttlebutt is that the majority likes the Admiral T version best though. I like it and it’s certainly better than no Boujé at all, but I think I’m going to switch to the Shabba version eventually.
Thanks Suzi for the info about ZIN. I know some about it from my friend/teacher, but I didn’t know that part about the penalty fee – nice to be aware of that… I was probably going to sign up for it. I’m only just beginning to feel my way with making choreography so I think receiving the discs in the mail will be good for me. Also, I know there are promotional materials you can buy to print and I want to do that because the place where I’m going to start a class has never had one before. I’ve already got a plan in place with my church.
I
I haven’t received my Zin 47 yet? Who can I contact? Or do you think everyone receives them different dates?
You really should have had it by now. Contact Zumba HO, they say the best way to get in touch is through their contact form (and I’ve always had good luck contacting them that way) but I know others have found they get faster service if they call in. Tell them you haven’t received it yet and they’ll either tell you to wait a while longer if it’s possibly still en route, or they’ll issue you a new copy. http://www.zumba.com/en-US/support
Hi, Suzi.. I love your post 🙂
I recently join ZIN as per 7 December, I can’t have ZIN 48 and neither buy it online because it doesn’t have in the shop (which I received email about 48’s sneak peek!)
I asked Zumba support , they said I’ve join ZIN as volume 48 been released , if I want it then I can buy it on the store. Well, I never see that on the zumba shop. 🙁
Unfortunately, many of ZIN here don’t support each other, say that I want to borrow the previous release and they give me thousand reason to not borrowing for me 🙁
However, I really wish to have many resources of original choreography and track list , if don’t I can’t start my class..
have a great day !
Hi Cherry! As Miranda said it is a violation if our license agreement to share music issued by Zumba even with other ZIN’s. And just hold tight, that ZIN should show up in your shop soon!
Cherry, congrats on joining ZIN. When I joined at the end of October, I was in your same situation, except with 47 instead of 48. I wasn’t going to receive 47, and it wasn’t in the education shop to buy. I despaired because I love Bouje which is on 47. It took the Zumba people several weeks, but eventually they -did- get that available in the store, it’s still there last I saw. My guess is that the same thing will happen with 48. I think they wait to release it into the stores until they are sure everyone who is receiving one by mail has theirs. Different people in different places get theirs at different times, so not everyone gets theirs in the mail on the same exact day. Unfortunately. It would be nice if that were true.
With regard to sharing…. Part of the license agreement you sign to be part of ZIN is that you won’t share your materials. An instructor could be looking at a legal difficulty if they were to share ZIN music and people found out about it.
If you have a list of the tracks on 48, you can probably find several of them on iTunes or on Amazon MP3. They would be different versions as Zumba uses covers of songs a fair bit, but at least you’d have the music.
Good luck to you Cherry as you prep for your class. And keep an eye on the education shop, I suspect 48 will be there eventually.
Dear Suzi and Miranda,
thank you for your kind advice 🙂 I’ll just wait ZIN 48 appear on the shop.
Thank you Miranda for your support 🙂 I hope I can start my class soon and with very confidence 😉
take care and all the best for you two!
I love Paulina Rubio’s track. I am not sure though if the dance moves are the same… I can’t seem to find zumba moves with this track.
We aren’t allowed to share the Zumba routines we get online so this is just a list of songs on the CD not the Zumba moves
Just love ‘juntos los dos – have been trying to get a download of this zumba song but have been unsuccessful so hope it shows up in the ‘shop’ soon.
I am enjoying all the other songs in zumba class.
